Tim
is a technology visionary and entrepreneur, and has been inventing
and commercializing innovative technologies for 25+ years.
Tim's ability to turn technology insight into commercial results
has led to improved performance in many firms, and helped
to create software advances that are part of many of the most
popular tools and applications for sale today.
Working
with the Transform Partners Team within BraveBrains Innovation
Alliance, Tim is helping firms create sustained, superior
economic performance through groundbreaking work using integrated
Business/IT architectures that enable increased Productive
Interactions. Tim is also helping several early stage companies
such as Ambient Devices (www.ambientdevices.com).
For
the last decade Tim has been helping corporations create business
value from emerging technologies like the Internet at firms
such as Viant Corporation where he was CTO. Prior to that
Tim spent a decade as a software entrepreneur where he was
involved in the creation of early PC tools and applications
using Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for the Macintosh, and
the creation of some of the earliest object oriented software
development environments now used by virtually all developers.
Tim's ideas have been widely published, from Business Week
to PC Week and others. Tim holds an A. B. cum laude from Dartmouth
College (1978) and a MSEE/CS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute
(1980).
