Innovation
Alliance Offering
Collaborative Discovery Programs and Custom Projects
A
program is a collaborative discovery initiative that allows
organizations (companies, government agencies, academic institutions,
etc.) - supported by BraveBrains Innovation Alliance experts
and thought leaders - to explore viable solutions and experiment
innovative approaches to complex business or social problems
of common interest.
A
program relies on one of the most important knowledge economy
principles: pool resources and intelligence in a "creative
common" where each participant contributes "one
unit of value and brings out the result the value of all the
units contributed". In other words a program works similarly
to an open source project, where various synchronized participants
collaboratively build a complex solution in less time and
with far less resources than their individual not coordinated
efforts would have taken. Contributors gain knowledge by contributing
to the project; they learn as they go.
Different
projects may emerge within the scope of a program, according
to the clustered needs of participants that attend the kick-off
2-day workshop/catalyst event. Each project may have one or
more participating entities (individuals and companies) that
will pool resources and will share outcomes.
